Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for assistance through Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Inc., applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Veteran Status:

• Must be a United States military veteran
• Proof of service required (e.g., DD214) (Honorable or General Under Honorable Conditions discharges preferred).

2. Residency:

• Must currently reside in Wisconsin or Minnesota.

3. Pet Ownership:

• Must be the legal and current owner of the animal in need.
• A clear photo of the pet must be submitted with the application.

4. Documentation Requirements:

• A copy of the applicant’s current driver’s license or state-issued ID.
• Proof of spay/neuter (or intent to spay/neuter if applicable; a waiver/follow-up agreement may be required).
• Proof of up-to-date vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian.

5. Type of Assistance:

• Assistance is only provided in the form of services or goods—no cash will be distributed.
• WTF, Inc. may cover costs directly with the service provider or provide gift cards/certificates when appropriate.

6. Areas of Support:

• Emergency veterinary care
• Temporary boarding
• Access to essential pet supplies or food
• Referrals for training, grooming, or other pet-related resources

7. Agreement to Terms:

• Applicants must agree to follow-up procedures and eligibility verifications as requested.
• Support is subject to availability of funds and at the discretion of the WTF, Inc. board.

8. Accountability & Violations of Agreement:

• Noncompliance, such as failure to follow through with a required spay/neuter procedure or attempting to sell or rehome an animal that received support through WTF, Inc., may result in:
• Termination of current and future assistance
• Revocation of any pending services or goods
• Notification to partner organizations or providers
• In cases where a waiver or follow-up agreement was made, the applicant is expected to uphold their end in good faith. Failure to do so may disqualify them from future support.

9. Media & Marketing Use Consent:

• By submitting this application, you consent to WTF, Inc. potentially using your pet’s name, photo, and your first name with last initial (e.g., “Frank M., Wisconsin”) and location for use on our website, social media, printed materials, or other marketing efforts that promote our mission and community support.
